An increasing number of textile manufacturers globally have realised the benefits of having a unified tension on warp beams and bobbins. High variations in yarn tension cause unnecessary stops in production and creates uneven patterns in the fabrics.

With a system for yarn tension monitoring the operator will have full control of the yarn tension variations which will create fewer problems later in the process, when weaving or tufting for example. This will result in an even quality in produced fabrics.

At the same time, the EyETM sensor functions as a yarn break detector that stops the machine if a yarn breaks or a bobbin runs empty which saves a lot of work for the operator.

In the EyETM system the Operator Terminal, with its touch screen panel, is the heart of the system, where warning levels and stop levels are set together with fine tuning of many advanced settings. By monitoring all yarns in real time, operators can get full control of the yarn variations and display each individual yarn’s tension on a big screen. This makes it easy to produce high quality beams and bobbins and in the long run cut costs.

EyETM is available with 1, 8, 10 or 12-eyelets with two range options available for the 12-eyelet version, 300 cN or 600 cN. A fully equipped system can handle up to 1156 yarns simultaneously.
