The UPG-Stitch from Eltex is a technical achievement. With its robust zinc metal housing and small size, this little workhorse withstands rough treatment and is easy to fit on the machine.

It works in unison with the industrial sewing machine, checking that the thread is moving in stitches and stops the machine when the thread is moving continuously or a thread breaks.

It operates on the piezoelectric principle, allowing it to handle all types of threads while at the same time being insensitive to dust, dirt, and humidity variations.

Among its technical features, one of the most useful is the optocoupler output that makes it easy to connect to a PLC or other electronic control devices. Another is that the patented designed sensor part can be used as a closed eyelet or as an easy thread-up open bar.
