Domotex is an annually held exhibition in Hannover, Germany, dedicated to the flooring industry which makes it a good fit for our line of products. It is the second most important exhibition for Eltex and we have exhibited there for many years.

We saw an increase in visitor rates to our stand this year compared to 2020 with more new visitors. Even though the general number of exhibitors were lower than previous years we think that many regulars anticipated the re-opening of the exhibition.

One of the highlights for us during the exhibition was when we got nominated to be in the “The Green Collection” which is a competition focused on sustainability, held in one of the exhibition halls. We didn’t win this time but have already applied for next year’s participation.

Our main contribution to sustainability is having Eltex sensors on tufting machines that stops them almost instantly when there is a yarn break or ends-out. This results in a huge reduction in waste material for the manufacturers and lowers the energy consumption by having fewer starts and stops.

To sum it all up, we really enjoyed being back at Domotex after a two-year lapse. We had good discussions with new and old customers, resellers and people from the textile industry and we felt that the energy was good, and people were satisfied to be back again.

We at Eltex are looking forward to coming back in 2024 and we hope to meet you there as well.
