Flexi-Hub: The new interface unit for
Eltex standalone yarn break sensors
The newly developed Flexi-Hub is a unit that works as an interface between Eltex standalone yarn break sensors and machines without a PLC or when connection to the machine’s PLC is not possible.
This small unit has a relay output which makes it easy to connect to the machine. It is intended to be fitted on a DIN rail in the control box of the machine.
On the frontside easily accessible controls can be found for start and stop delay, learn function and sensitivity adjustments.
When connecting UPG or UPG-Stitch sensors to the Flexi-Hub the connection board 16791 must be used between the sensors and the Flexi-Hub. Up to 8 UPG/UPG-Stitch sensors can be connected to each board and if more sensors are needed more 16791 connection boards can be added.
